Objectives

A position as my System administrator/Network Administrator that will let me use my extensive administrative experience and allow me to continue growing professionally.

Summary

Systems and network administration are my true passions but I have extensive experience with almost everything IT related.  I started on the helpdesk and have an outstanding sense of customer service.  I was MCSE NT4.0 and CCNA certified at one point but neither certification is active.  I am an avid open source software user and have over 11 years of experience with Linux and *BSD both as a desktop and as a server with some light Solaris experience.  I have been designing and implementing a continually growing VMWare ESX environment for over a year running on an EMC/Dell SAN.

I enjoy learning new things and working in a varied complex environment and while I enjoy working in as part of a team I generally work better alone with little supervision.
